Tsukimiru Privacy Policy

Tsukimiru(the "App") lets you add monthly payments such as installments, loans, and subscriptions, and calculates and displays your billing totals and the amounts you have paid. The App is free to use, and starting with version 1.2 it shows ads on the Home and payment list screens. This page explains the information the App handles and the information sent to third parties to show ads.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect users' personal information.

  • The App does not ask for your name, email address, location, or similar information, and there is no account or sign-in.
  • There are no fields for card numbers, account numbers, or PINs.
  • No analytics tools (analytics SDKs) are used.
  • The payments, take-home pay, monthly limits, and scenario inputs you enter are never sent off your device, and they are not given to advertisers.

2. Ads (Google AdMob)

Starting with version 1.2, the App shows ads using Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK), an ad service provided by Google LLC. Ads appear only on the Home screen (at the bottom and within the list) and within the All Payments list. They do not appear on the screens for entering payments, scenarios, Settings, or News, or on images you export.

To show ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect the following information and send it to Google:

  • Approximate location estimated from your IP address
  • Device identifiers (such as the advertising identifier)
  • Information about ad views and interactions (such as taps)
  • Diagnostic information, such as crashes and performance

This information is used to show ads, measure ad performance, and find problems. We do not use it to identify individual users. The payments you add are never sent for advertising.

  • The App shows non-personalized ads, not ads based on your interests (personalized ads).
  • The App does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, so it does not ask for permission to track.

3. Tsukimiru PLUS Purchases

Tsukimiru PLUS, an auto-renewable subscription (monthly or yearly) that removes ads and the "Made with Tsukimiru" mark on exported images, is processed through Apple's In-App Purchase. Payments and purchase history are managed by Apple through your Apple Account, and we never receive your credit card or other payment information or your purchase history. Checking and restoring purchases are also handled through Apple. You can cancel at any time in your App Store settings.

4. Data Stored on Your Device

The payments you add (name, amount, number of payments, interest rate, payment method notes, and so on), your groups (name, currency, and monthly limit), your take-home pay, your monthly limit, your moving plan inputs, the exchange rates you enter, and which news items you have read are stored only on your device. All calculations are also done on your device, and we cannot access this data. It is not synced with iCloud or any other service. Deleting the App also deletes the data from your device. If device backups are turned on, the data is included in those backups.

Exchange rates are entered by you; the App never goes online to download them. Text and images are shared only when you choose to share them, and you choose where they go.

5. News Data

To show announcements such as updates, the App retrieves a static news file from mawatarik.com. This request contains none of your payments and no user or device identifier, and the downloaded data is used only to display news. Like any website, the server that delivers this file (https://mawatarik.com/apps/tsukimiru/news.json) keeps standard access logs (such as IP address and time). These logs are used only to operate the service and not to identify users. If the App cannot connect, it shows the news it retrieved last time or the news built into the App.

6. External Links

News, ads, and the support page may include links to websites. Information on those sites is handled according to their own privacy policies.

7. Changes to This Policy

Any changes to this policy will be published on this page. If a new feature changes how information is handled, we will update this page before that feature becomes available.
